Lihou Tiger is a traditional handicraft originating from Licheng County, Shanxi Province. It is named after the ancient name of Licheng as the Kingdom of Lihou and is a unique folk handicraft in Licheng County. The Li Hou tiger originated from the folk custom of taking the tiger as the totem in the Shang and Zhou dynasties. After 3000 years of historical evolution, it has gradually perfected its unique shape, which integrates stories, straw weaving, embroidery, Paper Cuttings, calligraphy and painting. The Li Hou tiger has cultural connotations such as blessings, home control, and wealth creation among the people, and is known as the first tiger in China.

黎侯虎是发祥于山西省黎城县的传统手工艺品，因黎城古称黎侯国而得名，是黎城县民间手工技艺的一朵奇葩。黎侯虎起源于商周时期以虎为图腾的民俗，后经过3000年历史演变，逐步完善定型于今天集故事、草编、刺绣、剪纸、书画于一身的独特造型。黎侯虎在民间有赐福、镇宅、生财等文化内涵，被誉为中国第一虎。
